JOEY’S SENTENCING…

We have just received a report from one of our ”insiders” that was at the Carbon County Courthouse yesterday watching the judge sentence good ‘ol Joey. Here’s their transcribed first hand account…

“Well, in classic form this scumbag sat and waited all slumped over like a beaten dog while they hunted down his lawyer at 1:15 PM, when the sentencing was to start; “He’s somewhere in the building” someone shouted, while the judge just shook his head.

“Then his lawyer showed up (“fashionably” late) and the actual sentencing started and Joey boy was called up before the judge. He sleased his way up to center stage looking about as downtrodden as a man can look, he really looked old. He was dressed like a street person and his hair was quite un-groomed. Maybe he felt the judge would show pity for his lost soul.

“But alas, it seems the judge has seen his kind before. The first guilty charge (Criminal Attempt – Theft By Decep-False Impression) was a 3rd degree misdemeanor and the judge sentenced him to 1 year probation for that. The second guilty charge (Forgery-Utters Forged Writing) was a 1st degree misdemeaner and the judge had some comments; calling Joey’s action “dastardly” and sentenced him to 30 days to 1 year in Carbon County’s Correctional Facility.

“When the judge asked Joey if he had any thoughts, he had the balls to say he thought the prosecution’s case was weak. The Judge responded by reminding him that he was found guilty ‘beyond any reasonable doubt’ by a jury of his peers, and while the elderly woman he victimized sat there, the judge also added that he didn’t detect any remorse from Joey for what he had done, thus the jail time.”

Of course Joey intends to appeal this sentence, but first he must pay all fines, court costs and prosecutor’s fees. And what about his lawyer? Where the hell is he gonna get this kind of money (legally).

Well it won’t be long until our dreams have come true and Joey has to address the notorious “Bubba”; the one who’s inherent in any prison system.

30 days (with good behavior) hmmmm, you better toe the line Joey, and when “Bubba” yells jump, you better ask how high.

Oh well, take your time Joey, appeal or whatever, you can only evade the inevitable for so long. It sucks to be you.

But don’t fear…we’ll keep the light on for you!

Can you believe this snake? “Who Is Joe Krex?”; he filed a petition for a writ of Habeas Corpus to try to sleeze out of the Commonwealth’s case against him. From the Carbon County Court’s Criminal Docket…

Order Denying Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus

AND NOW, this 20th day of October, 2008, upon consideration of the Defendant’s (Joey boy) Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus “, which was included in the “Defendant’s Omnibus Pre-Trial Motions”, and after a hearing held thereon on October 10, 2008, it is hereby Ordered and Decreed that the Defendant’s “Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus” is DENIED.

And since Joey is not paying his attorney, his council does not wish to represent him any longer, so he filed the following petition, also from the Carbon County Criminal Docket…

10/15/2008 – Petition To Withdraw Representation

10/20/2008 – Order of Court Issuing Rule upon the Respondent

AND NOW, this 20th day of October 2008, upon consideration of the “Petition to Withdraw Representation”, it is hereby

Ordered and Decreed that:

1. A Rule is issued upon the Respondents, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Joseph J Krex, to show cause why the moving party, Brian J Collins, Esq, is not entitled to the relief requested.

2. The Respondents shall file an answer to the Petition within 20 days of this date.

3. If an answer is filed, hearing/argument shall be scheduled or other appropriate action shall be taken by the Court.

4. In the event no answer is filed, the Court may grant the relief requested.

5. Notice of entry of the Order shall be provided to all parties by the moving party.

Delays and withdrawals…

It’s hard to keep up with all the changes, continuances etc. that Joey boy is taking the court system through, but we’ll try to give a complete accounting. Keep in mind Joey was charged in an original complaint filed by the Commonwealth of PA on 7/20/2007 with the following: “Criminal Attempt” – “Theft By Deception” – “False Impression” – “Forgery” – “Utters Forged Writing”.

Jury Trial:

Originally scheduled for 6/9/2008 (continued)
Scheduled 8/11/2008 (continued)

Motion to Dismiss:

Originally scheduled 5/16/2008 (moved)

For someone who claims to be innocent of the alleged charges listed above, why all the delays? …and why file for a “withdrawal” of the Motion to Dismiss after having it scheduled (and re-scheduled) a total of 5 times?

“Who Is Joe Krex?” & “WHAT IS THE KREX FOUNDATION?”: Currently Joey boy, the founder/CEO of the totally lame, inoperative, invalid and illicit “Krex Foundation” is laying low, with no home to call his own, his web site shut down, and he’s awaiting a trial by jury facing criminal charges of FORGERY, UTTERS FORGED WRITING, CRIMINAL ATTEMPT, THEFT BY DECEPTION and FALSE IMPRESSION. It seems Joey has expended all his own financial resources (and the moneys he has ripped-off from the elderly, the young and the innocent) and is currently scraping the bottom of the barrel to pay an attorney.

This is a pathetic example of a man who has slowly deconstructed his own life by deception, stealing and various other forms of disrespectful (sometimes scandalous) social conduct. He has disgraced his family, especially his late mother and father, his friends and all who have had the misfortune to have had a relationship with him. He is deservedly a shattered excuse for a man. So be it!
